PBN databases
Many PBN games are generated at the On Line Bridge Club
Bridge Club LIVE.
- The European Team
Championship 1997 is a PBN database consisting of many files. This
database shows how PBN copes with bulk data.
- The European Youth
Teams Championships 1998 contains files of the 16th European Junior Teams
Championship and the 3rd European Schools Teams Championship.
- The European Team
Championship 1999 is a PBN database consisting of 34 files, one PBN file
per round.
- The European Youth Teams
Championships 2000 contains files of the 17th European Junior Teams
Championship and the 4th European Schools Teams Championship.
The results
and games are also available in HTML format at: EYTC 2000 Rama.
- The CAP Gemini 1998
bulletins have been converted to PBN to show that PBN is well suited to
present annotated games. The original bulletins are plain text files, and they
can be downloaded from BridgePlaza.
- The annotation capabilities of PBN are further illustrated with Greg Foltz'
mini-movie. This example addresses the interactive presentation of a
bridge game.
- Al Howard has entered the
following tournaments and played them with GIB. The included score files can
be processed with a tool called Mr_Al.

the international Fifth Friday Tournaments. The file FFT_9901.zip contains
the PBN files of the tournament at January 1999. See also Herman's

Many tournaments can be
obtained from the PBN archive.
- The file OKB.zip
contains the PBN files of a tournament organised by OKbridge.
- Roberto Scaramuzzi from OKbridge has converted the hand records
for the finals of the Internet World Bridge Championships (Boston). This database is also
available at wcib_final_results.html.
- A database of files has been constructed with games played at OKbridge. In each game you can enjoy the
playing of Benito Garozzo (papi). The database is available in PBN 1.0 format and in
PBN 2.0 format.
- The match GIB - WBridge5 at the Orbis World Computer Bridge Championship
final, 19 January 2000, available in bermuda2000.zip,
commented by Alan Jaffray.
- Program GIB includes many PBN files.
And many PBN databases can be freely downloaded from GIB's web site.
- The web site of Dré Ruigrok contains
many bridge games. Dré has constructed several files containing games in PBN
format. You can receive these files by mailing a request to Dré Ruigrok.
- The files played on the bridge section of Microsoft's on-line gaming Zone can be saved in PBN format. You can save
games when playing and/or kibitzing.

Michel Franssen has made available
the games of many Dutch tournaments on his web site.

Paul Wouters van den Oudenweijer
has constructed PBN 2.0 files containing ScoreTables of the Dutch competition.
The files can be downloaded from his web site.
Follow the links "NBB wedstrijden Nieuw", "2e Divisie Paren groep 4 2001",
"Zitting x (x=1,..,8)", and then "in PBN" ; and also follow the links
"Toernooien nieuw", "BC70 Marathon 2001", "Frequentiestaten zitting", and then "in PBN".
These databases can be inspected by the PBN Viewer.
